While we appreciate any donated money to the site we can't accept small donation payments anymore, they just create more work than the donation itself, you are donating work or negative money to the site in reality :)
We have had donations as low as 33cents in the past, we know the saying is anything is better than nothing, but in this case negative is not better than something. We still have to account the donation money as site money in when we do tax and other things, to fillout paperwork for low amounts doesn't help the site it actually hinders it. We don't expect everyone to donate and we are not asking you to, this post is just to announce the changes in donation amounts. We've setup some fixed levels of donation starting at 10 dollars and a smaller monthly subscription donation of $5 a month over 12 months if you want to contribute something regular.
The new donation amounts are on the donate page:
http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/portal_articles.asp?catid=5&Title=HappyHardcore.com+-+Donations&linkid=416&expand=true&area=3 These figures were based on previous donation amounts by people and are not set in stone.

Same.
And..I don't get why someone would donate that.
Wouldn't it be more of a hassle? Imagine if they sent it by mail.

0.24 quid.
Silver is in Japan so 33 cents = 32.6 yen. And yes, that's still barely anything.

yep - depending on what country they were from and what the exchange rate was at the time...either way - thats pretty lame, whoever they are they should have their donation badge revoked - or they shouldnt have got one! :P
