i thought it was a pretty damn good update to that song! now if he actually came out with a 2009 version, then that would most definitely suk balls
He just went too soft with it. It's like listening to watered down trancecore. Not to mention some parts don't flow as well as the original, like some of the breakdown and a few a transitions.

if ur gonna take that much time and effort to analyze and criticize every single detail of the song, then u'll never really like anything

The first I've heard of this...and I don't think it's that bad...but I can see why some people wouldn't like it as it could have worked on its own merits and didn't need to use the vocal sample (which kinda held things back in this case).
I remember people calling Hixxy's Remix of Planet Perfecto's Bullet in the Gun a travesty of the original. Personally I didn't mind it, though I'll agree it was pretty average.

i def like the original one better, but this one would be better if there was something done with the vocals. it just sounds like too much going on, and it's definitely the vocals that are overwhelming the rest of the track

You hit that right on the nail. The vocals do not play well with that remix.
