Ok here is the idea.
i am making a movie trailer as an extra credit option for my English class. The movie trailer is for a Charlie Chaplin Film. I have the modern times dace scene, city lights, and the gold rush. I have no software or hardware to edit these fine films into a movie trailer. The software i was going to use (virtual DJ) has crapped out on me and i need to know fast what is a good, easy to learn, software to use.

yeah, but it cant cut videos down to smaller clips. I want to take a hour long video, make smaller clips and then edit the clips into place to make a movie trailer.
