Actually it's only about 1% snitz, we redid the entire backend because snitz was written so poorly and could not handle large loads of people. The member section is 100% original, record DB, chat, even the CMS function are all custom now. I keep the link because we still use a few of their graphics, perhaps I should remove it since we are hardly snitz anymore, it's also why it says "Code portions based on" not "powered by"

Oh well okay, didn't know that. But I think you should redo the site, not the base ( functions and stuff like that ) but at least the CSS, and maybe some other things, cause they're a lot of things that don't work, are not aligned etc..
I mean if you like the current design and don't want to change it, keep the same style, same colours, just make it look a bit fresher, like more padding and stuff like that.. it's a bit narrow sometimes, lol.

What is not aligned and what doesn't work? Make a post in site problems if you find anything.
