I listen to basically nothing but electronica, but on occasion i will bring out my old 80s and 90s tunes (mainstream rock, rap/hiphop, r&b, spanish music) but I don't really count it seeing as it's not exactly new stuff. As far as new music, all I listen to is electronica. i seriously do hate mainstream radio now. all the play is godawful rap/hiphop and mainstream rock just sux now

Feels like I hear Infinity 2008 all the time on popular radio channels in Norway, especially NRJ. And if they don't play Infinity, it's some RnB song.

ones in red are "dance".. of course, i wasnt listening at 6am - i just doubled back using iplayer and caught up from 6am till the time i got to work..
this is the play list that runs between 6am and 6pm then everything goes haywire - i think they slowly change the daytime playlist about once every two months...so the songs there will to all intents and purposes be play every single day in a different order for at least two months

you only realising that now,we had it in work for a while bloody awful then we went back to cool fm(don,t think u get it in england)and it nearly as bad the same shite day in day out

it could be worse you're right, i mean, there are some places where they would never even consider dance music on the radio..and we get it at least once every 20mins

You need to bear in mind that Radio 1 is in direct competition with truly shite commercial radio stations like
Capital Radio (London areas) which plays the same b*stard shite tracks at least six times a day for months on end....
and Kiss Fm
not to mention the truly awful Heart, Magic etc which also play the same b*stard shite tracks at least six times a day every bloody day for months on end.... and then play them some more!
Try having any of those on all day at work. FFS!
I'm impressed that, so far, I haven't slit my wrists.
