Look on Discogs to see what other people ask for for postage. Usually its about £3.00 plus an extra 50p for additional vinyls, but thats a ****in rip off. I sent a record 1st class not so long ago and it cost 1.60? or summat like that.

Like Jax said take them to the post office and weigh em. Id say about 6-8kg.

that sounds about right for 30odd vinyl's i sold a pack of 30 on ebay a while back, cost me around about £9/10 :)

meathead is 100% right about those ebay ripoff merchants charging freekin £3+ for sending vinyl, freekin cheepscapes!

people who overcharge for shipping piss me off! last one i complained to about it said somthing like "yeah, but its for packaging and travel expenses to send it"

bah!

The most common weights for 12" are 140g and 180g per record, if I'm not mistaken.

So let's use 160g which is right in between, and 160g * 31 = 4.96kg which is right below 11lbs I think :P

those weights i just gave...i picked up 30 of mine and walked into the kitchen and weighed them :P

though i ended up only weighing 10 of them cause the kitchen scales dont go high enough for 30..
