Circa '97/'98, been bugging me for ages so finally decided to dig out my old keyboard so I had some way of recording the tune (ignore the last note, I ain't no classical pianist!):
http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/ThumpJunkie/?action=view¤t=Picture124-2.flv Sample voice used is as close to that used in the original tune as the keyboard could offer. Wasn't as high tempo a track as happy hardcore. Had a live crowd sample in the track IIRC. Cheers

makina is usually slower than happy hardcore (when pressed to vinyl atleast), could this be the case?

Haha thanks mate, I remember the day I finally got my hands on it, wanted it for about a year before my dad finally bought me it for passing my exams! Come to think of it, that was ten years ago! Got the DJX 2 too but it wasn't as much fun :(

Not really sure mate, unfamiliar with that particular genre? Whatever style it is it was typical of the first half of Tom's radio sets!

as large as it looks its not so great lol
they are a pair of ...JBL?1000 that whole system i think was worth £500?
though that rather large sound mixer that is at an angle i have no idea where that came from, or where my dad got it from - im fairly sure that logo in the top left hand corner of it says "Radio Shack" if i remember correctly, why he bought me a 13 channel mixer..i have no idea.
but yeah, bought nearly everything there in a package they had going on at terralec and had it shipped to where i lived (isles of scilly at the time) did it all via catalouge too - no internet, actually not sure if they had a website back then (http://www.terralec.co.uk/) the dumbell's were borrow from a friend.....i never did give them back *hides*
