A 10 yr old died here yesterday from taking 5 ecstacy tablets.. how the HELL does a 10 yr old get her little paws on it?? hmm seriously... Have the dealers no conscience?? Are the parents that careless??
Id like to hear everyones opinion on this, its quite disturbing..

It was actually in the UK, & the 10 yr old had been at her sisters boyfriends house (sister 19, b/friend 21) & felt ill so went upstairs to lie down on his bed, found the tablets & ate them ( (presumably) thinking they were sweets. Yes in my view they were irresponsible to:
a) leave them out on view
b) let a kid in the room without moving them to a safe place
c) keep that many in the house (there were more there) you get higher sentences for higher quantities so keep them separately (& obviously the safety problem as was so unfortunately demonstrated).
My thoughts go out to her family & friends at this tragic time, if you feel anything at all be careful if you choose to keep such things in the huose (especially if you have younger sisters or brothers).
PS-Both the sister & B/friend have been arrested along with another girl at the adress at the time of the incident.

well i think for the most part, unless you are sick and/or sadistic; most people are against drug overdoses of any kind =P
drugs, much like firearms imo should be locked up if they are going to be kept in a household that has small children/infants. things like this should never happen and it is quiet tragic that it had to happen.

well either she thought they were sweets or just liked the high & thought f*ck it I'll have more but I doubt it!
Seriously though as already mentioned they are dangerous in the wrong hands & should be locked away in the home.

my guess is the child thought that they were aspirin or some other otc drug
