Am I the only one who found this CD set to be really good for a modern hardcore CD? I don't think I recall it being mentioned here.

I own it as well. I enjoyed it! Still do. Though, I wouldnt call it "modern" per say as Storm & Euphony don't work together as often now.

Do you know what year the songs are from or what year it was released? I thought the set was released like last year?

I think some of the songs may have come out before 2005 though, because "Blinded" was on Bonkers 11 and I think that cd came out before 05. I also own "This Is Noize vol.2" and compared to the 1st one, the 1st is one is better. The only track I liked on This Is Noize 2 was "Don't Go Away" by Dougal & Gammer.

"This Is Noize: vol.1"
CD 1: Mixed by Sy & Unknown. It starts off kind of slow, but picks up around "Toytown". There is some scratching laid out over it, but I just felt like they didn't put that much effort into the mix, but the track selection was good.
CD 2: All unmixed tracks, and for the most part, full length (Some tracks fades out). Didn't like the tracks that much on CD 2, but you at least get the full length version of the ORIGINAL Timebomb.

"This Is Noize vol.2"
Mixed by Sunrize. It was an ok album, pretty much just a slide of the fader, nothing crazy. Some good tracks were: "Rainfall[Remix]", "Don't Go Away", "Get Hype[Scott brown Remix]", and "Blinded". Nothing really cheesy though, and not very sing-a-longish.

Its a really good album, I bought 18 months ago from the US ebay, and glad I did. Because of the dollar to the pound now though it will cost alot more for UK buyers! I even did a thread about the Rizzla Dizzla track which I love!
