mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
i dont want to start a huge debate, and im sure its a great movie
but the reason clubs get closed down and raves get stomped on and why they want to introduce new laws clamping down on raves (remember the r.a.v.e act they brought in, did that ever get passed?) is all because of drugs at raves. this film appears to just perpetuate the myth that every raver out there is some pill popping hippy....which doesnt to wonders for people trying to keep stuff above water....

accurate or not, it's true. people know what raves are all about.
there needs to be more free outdoor parties anyway, that way the rave act gets screwed in the butt.
(cuz as far as i know, it's the club owner that normally does.)

actually it's a North America thing apparently. seems like the number of ppl who go to raves just for the drugs outweigh the rest of the ppl still. which is why they are always called drugfests. haven't been to a rave in ages and i no longer roll, but i'm thinking of going if S3RL or another of my favorite DJs comes to TX.

lol yea i think i was 1/2 asleep still when i wrote it. what i meant to say was that we used to get a lot of shit from the media about them. altho i think it's probably in only certain areas now because i don't hear anything on the news about it anymore, especially since TX doesn't have a very large EDM scene compared to Cali and NY

i haven't been to a rave for a long time, and i'm not arguing what raves are all about, my point was that lots of drugs get sold there and lots of people there are on drugs. tell me i'm wrong. there are also, as you said, people who are there just to listen to music.
