last time i went to manchester i was crazy tired because i just been up all night waiting for a plane from exeter to manchester...anyway, to cut a long story short we went to the trafford center, and it bored the crap out of me
they have an HMV.. which was the usual overpriced cds and dvds..same as which i could have gotten on a smaller trip down to lancaster or up to carlise..
boooooring
the only time before that i was there was when i was 14 on a school trip, back in 1999 where they ACTUALLY had a music store that sold vinyl..and that mostly made it worth while i guess
if i ever go back to machester it will be only because im looking for record stores/second hand stores and charity shops, thats where the gold is!!! :D

funny you should say that, because when i was there with the school trip in 99, our coach was broken into and everything was stolen, oddly enough i was the only one out of 23 of us who had forgotten to bring a personal cd player...so i had left the copy of "Off Yer Nut 2000" back at the hostel we were staying at...else i probably would have gotten that nicked!
we went to old trafford, but we werent allowed to go on the football pitch because earlyer that day someone had fallen 90ft, from the roof, onto the chairs below!
now its got me thinking that it was actually 2000 that we were there..i dunno

maine road is now an estate mate! your a bit late lol
and triquatra, the trafford centre is in trafford. trafford isn't manchester!
the centre is full of little record shops and things of that sort. you just have to veer off the main street and your surrounded by them.. :D unfortunately the best, spininn isnt there anymore so youl have to find another good'un..
