just bought a behringer djx700 mixer but my volume levels are all over the place. i.e the 1st tabel is louder than the 2nd. could some1 help me out please? what level should they b at ect...

Check the Gain. And check if it's set to phono or line.
Btw DJX700 is shit, you should have got a DDM4000, it's thousand times better.

Nope, DDM4000 is not.
You'll never find a mixer like that for this price and this quality.

Yes I know, but I mean if he already bought a Behringer, he should have bought the new model, which is a digital mixer, and not the old analog one.

digital doesn't mean better
To be fair though, ANYTHING is better than a DJX700 (a friend lent me one for a while when I had lent my mixer to my girlfriend)
That mixer blows.

Most likely yes, not all music is recorded at the same level you need to constantly adjust levels (and gain / trim)

should i stick to the original mixer i got with my tabels? its a basic numark dm950? didnt seem to have any trouble with the volumes when mixing?
