... any of them ( title was too long ).
I'm really angry. I would like to make some sets for di.fm, and I can really make wicked sets, but I never have enough hardcore tunes I really love of one style/type to make a set long enough, cause I want to make it fast and quick ( mixing next song directly after the breakdown ), and that makes the set shorter, which means I need more tunes to make it long enough. And all the tunes I want are either unreleased or will never be released, and when they are, after a year, they already became boring. That sucks ! I want tunes ! I have a list of maybe 200 tracks I need :[
I wish I was getting more promo stuff.
I could make so awesome sets if I just had the tunes!! And I already make wicked sets, but I don't want to mix dark, happy, breaks, freeform etc together. When I play at home or so it's okay, I don't care. But if I want to make a serious set which everyone will hear, I don't want to.
I wanna cry it's horrible ! There's so many SHIT out there and exactly what I like, I can't get it ! I can't believe it.

Yeah that's what I mean.
What you can do ? Good sets that make you popular so you get more promo stuff. But how do you do good sets when you don't have the good tunes ?

you make the best of what you have at your disposal. and eventually you collect tunes and make something kind of what you like.
most everyone else doesn't get promos either. so... work with what you have.

Why stick to one style/type of hardcore? That's boring.

Lmao, yea it sucks doesn't it. Nothing you can do about it either, which is kind of good in its own way. When a new EP or release comes out, its much more exciting because you've been waiting for it for so long. But, on the other hand, releases are WAY to slow, and they really need to get sped up.

QFT.
I mix anything I like, and I'm happy doing it. Why can't you?
Now of course I don't throw any track together, but hell if I only play one style.
Variety owns all.

You write good tunes yourself.
And if you think the only good tunes are unreleased you should ask yourself whether you really like hardcore.

HappyHardcore.com mixes arent just limited to UK Hardcore, that would be boring... But the mix must contain mostly UK Hardcore ofcourse
There's alot of simular styles you could add to your mix
Happy Hardcore, Freeform, Makina, Gabber, Harddcore, Jungle

That's not really what I ment, I do mix a lot of styles, but I want for example to do a "sad" mix, so I'll mix sad Breakbeat Hardcore, sad Happy Hardcore, sad UK Hardcore etc..
And usually I also mix all styles together.
Yeah I wish I could produce, I have so many good ideas, but not the things to do it :(

Use what you have mate. I just made a new mix with the same tracks ive had for a while. MP3 releases are fairly slow. Generally because i think they're scared they will be up on a site straight away and will make no money from it. Probably true though. If you want tracks buy the vinyl and rip them to MP3's. I know you have turntables.
