Okay so I sped up a 140bpm track to 180bpm is it normal for the kickdrum to be phaseing in and out for example in this track:

Yes, its because of the timestretching algorhythm. You can try different algorhythms but the ones that are better for drums aren't as good for polyphonic bits.

What are you using to timestretch?
