Hey guys!

got a quick question.... I have been trying to record my mixes for some time... i use audacity to record them straight to the HDD. The setup i have going is as follows:

1. I am using Torq DJ software (Like Serato)
2. the turntables and grounds are attached to the Torq interface.
3. I have the RCA output of the mixer running into the input of my computer to record.

The issue im having is that when i plug the RCA cable into the mixer i get this weird humming sound from it...
does anybody know what could cause this?

thanks

Also, i know there is a way to "remove noise" it helps, but removes from the audio quality.

yea i have used the noise removal in the past, but it really can degrade the quality of the track and it sometimes does not remove it all the time.

thanks for the advice
