I am a vinyl dj, and think that our genre takes soooo long to release new tracks.. I dont understand why? I know it takes something like 6 weeks @ least from sending the track to get pressed. But by the time some tracks have been released i just dont even botha!! Dont the producers know that there the ones losing the money and were the ones getting pretty pissed with waiting for a track then by the times it comes out ... your like NAH!! give that one a miss..
And it really pisses me off that cdj user can just log on to some sites and have it months and months before us (VINYL DJ'S) even get a look in!!!
Just wanted to see if i share the same views with fellow dj's..

If you're talking about big labels a lot of them release the vinyl before the MP3?
It doesn't really bother me these days tbh, I just grab things when they come out. I've got so little money since getting a mortgage that I'm kinda happy there isn't too many releases being rushed out. :P
