Must say what a night it was. Venue was excelent, Sound system was mega! Croud was cracking.
Dj Skibba & Dj Square - Open set of the night was great, Amazing selection of track from the pair, Mixing was tight as the place started to fill up. On the mic was Mc Double G one of glasgow's best up and coming mc's on the scene.
Next to hit the decks was on of twisted and brainfire's resident Dj's Mikey motion who was B2B with Dj Ken-E - With Mc MC Flee and Bobby G, More of Glasgow's home grown tallent mixing up a storm on the decks, Dj Mikey Motion is one to look out for, He is currently producing some amazing tracks and droping them into his sets.
By now the place was rammed and looking out from the stage the place was buzzing, Next to spin ze tunes was Dj Bass Generator adn Mc loco, Defo a Scottish crowd please'r these pair, Bassy G dropping in some Heavy hardstyle in the main room, which was great at that time, With the dancers from Bass Generator records doing there thing on the stage,
Next up was the Legend Dj Kurt with Mc wotsee, Glasgow loves this pair, Mixing was flawless and as i watched Kurt mix up the tracks his hand speed on the faders is immense, His mixing style is hard and fast dropping in mega breaks and chops and cuts here, not to mention teh wikkid scratching on the decks.
Next up was Force 9 - Supplying some mega sounds to keep the place rocking for the next dj. Had to shoot and do some work at this point so I cant really review it but what i did hear of it was mega.
Next on the 1's and 2's was Dj Dougal! with the one and only Mc Enemy! Mr enemy supplin some nice new vocals that i have never heard before from the man, Which was wikkid and mr Dougal playing the best selection of Uk Hardcore out there today! Its now went just after midnight and the place is rocking, Its hot, Sweaty and generally a quality rave!!
And now its time for Lethal Theory Live Showcase! No one told me to set up 2 mic's for joey riot and kurt so they had to share a mic lol. Doing some of the track such as, Straight From The Underground ect ect, Was really good to see this, and i must say if u see that on the flyer anywhere get to that rave,
Next up Scottish legend Mr Scott Brown and Mc Wotsee, Scott started his set hard and ended up playing some wikkid gabber beats towards the end of his set, HE also played in the gabber room upstairs earlier in the night playing VS Dj Rob Da Rythem from twisted and brainfire, I missed this tho as i was busy in the main arena :(
Last set of the night was Dj Joey Riot and Mc Enemy,. Joey doing his usual and bouncing abut the stage like he had springs on his feet, Quality selection of tunes from the man himself and mc enemy keeping the crowd going by now its 3am closing time, But did anyone leave? Did they ****, a mass of ravers hanging over the barrier shouting 1 MORE TUNE 1 MORE TUNE, But by now it was 3.15 and they still wanted to stay and play, so did joey riot shame on the sound guys for turning the system off lol,
Once again twisted and Brainfire and Hardcore heaven put on a cracking night, And if you are going to the hardcore weekender keep a eye out for the twisted and brainfire arena where you can check out some of glasgow up and coming Dj;s and mc's

Immense night this was.
Every set was crazy good, loads of new tracks & some fantastic older tracks bein dropped too.
If you ever see this coming back to Glasgow and you didn't make it last night - Get your ****ing arse in gear and come along to the next one, you will NOT be disappointed!

Im doing a bit of work as stage manager for them, Help setting up and packing up the eqiupment, Sorting out bits and bobs for them :) Hope to be playing again soon, Booked for this event next month should be a cracker.
