here a good question...
lets say I make a remix of a song using ONLY the vocals, and the music is ALL of my own creation
in this case the naming should be:
original artist - song name (Naturatech remix)
if I remove the vocals completely from the song, could I name the song like this:
Naturatech- song name ??

Surely it wouldn't contain anything from the original track and therfor wouldn't be a remix? So, yeah. ;)

if there was nothing to link your creation with the other vocal version of the track no one would ever know it has any relation unless you told them.

Even if it only uses the vocals from another track, it's not really a remix from the other track, it's your own track with the other track's vocals. There are a lot of producers who just put their names on their remixes, even without having the rights :/

As far as i know if you use anything that has been produced by someone else then it's always original artist - song name (Naturatech remix)
Even if Darren Styles remixed it? :D

Yes that is fine as long as you haven't signed a contract or been paid for a remix for the original vocal.

Unless you did a cover version, re-creating the track or vocal, then you can name it anyway you want BUT you have to credit the original creators and give all publishing rights to them (in the fine print credits)
