if uve got a mac download sonic birth, not stricktly a synth but its got a width enhancer on it that makes your tracks sound massive. and its free!!

But i agree with Acid unless you find you are limited by not having something then what youre using is fine. Although i, for some reason, have a deep seated resentment towards all things Nexus lol. Zeta+ (from what ive heard) is a VERY good synth for leads and melodies and such, havent really tried it tbh though.
