I came home tonight to find him crying. he was quiet, subdued - just not himself. Something was wrong but he wouldn't say what. He didn't text me all night and he always texts when i'm out. He hasn't even looked at me. I think he might be having an affair. Went to bed and cried. he followed me up later, still wouldn't speak. He just laid in bed staring at the ceiling. I cuddled up to him and stroked his hair, eventually we made love and i fell asleep in his arms.
His -
Man united lost, cried my eyes out, absolutely gutted. Got a shag later though so took my mind off it.

Barcalona deserved that for definite. I think anyone who wasn't a united fan wanted Barcelona to win. Congratuations to them. I still believe that everyone is envious and jealous of Manchester United because of their huge recent success. They're one of the most decorated and in particular, most popular clubs in world football; probably even more so than Barcelona at the moment.

Barcelona were different class. Man Utd are the best team in the premiership, but they can't compete with Barcelona when Barac are on form. Iniesta, Xavi and Messi are simply astonishing.
Anderson, Carrick and Park aren't good enough for the very top level. Scholes and Giggs are past their best too. Anyway, I can't stand Man Utd, so get it right up them.

as much as i dis-like Man U, i think i dis-agree with this a bit. carrick is probably not top class but a solid player. so agree with that. and while Anderson may not be top class yet, but he most probably will be in a few years. scholes and giggs are certanly past their prime but i would at least still put giggs in the top because of experience.
as for park, well, people thought sir alex was crazy in the semi's starting him and he scored on 7 minutes. i think the fact that he's still on the team, not always in the first team yet still being put out in european semi and full finals buy sir alex speaks volumes about him....also i coach hockey, and any sport any level coaches LOVE players who will work as hard as park he runs full steam both ways for as long as he's out there.this is to be admired....as a united critic, my favorite players come down to scholes (because of england contributions) giggs (because of his class as a person on the field , and his experience) and park because i find him such a 'team' player. hard working, un selfish, and can score a goal or two him self.
with me attitudes (or percieved attitudes) go a long way. thats just me.
...yes i prefer these players to roony, ronaldo, or berbatov.

It's always surprised me that Park seems to get the big games, yet rarely features in the run of the mill ones. I've never been convinced with him, nor Anderson. Carrick I do rate a bit though, he's just not on the level with the likes of Xavi and Iniesta. He's an unfortunate guy that he's around at the same time as Gerrard and Lampard, or else I think he'd be a regular starter.
Maybe it's just because they played poorly, but Man Utd were made to look rubbish by Barca. In footballing terms, Barcelona are much superior. In all honesty, I thought Man Utd would win despite Barca being the better side. Part of the success of the English sides in the CL is down to the sheer power the teams have. The continental teams have superior footballing and technical ability, but are overwhelmed by the powerful play of the premiership sides.

oh i like vidic and of course ferdinand too.
Have to agree with that - Park Ji Sung is an under-rated, fantastic player. Always been the unsung hero, and always been a cult hero at the Stretford End.
