you know hardcore. i can't let everything slide. it just sucks. why you think it's better to act like your some big famous star when most people have never heard of you. i mean geez, you're doing one job spinning records. you're no better than anybody else. they're acting cooler than scott brown. he was chill as **** when did his walk thu at miles of smiles. he didn't act like he was better than everyone. he was there to party, beermug in hand. dude the scene is ****ing small in ny. to fill club exit people came as far as canada. in l.a. it's all soco. sandiego's scene is more jumping than ny at least two parties a week with l.a. throwing 3 or 4. bunch a kandy kids at all of em with hh. it's cruising out there. east bay is rocking too. maybe people on the east coast are colder people because of the winters. i'm openly friendly. honest this has been coming on for awhile. i'm chill like the other side of your pillow. remember the beef is that there's no happy hardcore. i know what's at the party ahead of time, that's why i don't waist my time, and money going in. i started out a ny raver by the way. i wanna bring a magical experience here, but i'm broke, and i don't anyone out here except like jen maas. want me to chill? i'm a homey, i'm either hardcore or dead. i'm not kidding.
plurr,

fair...although for the record scotty is a documented party animal who (to his credit) will deffinetly chill and shoot the shit...and if he cant get a beer he'll take helium whippits lol!
and not that ive been there (i wish!) but aren't people in cali on the whole more of an easy goin liberal rave friendly people, compared to ny? (where i have been).i would kind of expect a bigger scene out there. l.a. in particular because of the people there. cali deffinetly produced some great producers lol (i believe one is commin to toronto in the next couple months but i cannot say)
its all about breaking perceptions. ny has the ammount of people that if a big movement got started, raves and HARDCORE could flourish
and ya on the eastern sea board you gotta travel most of the time (thank god i live in a huge city that can support its self) ive drivin 8 hours before. but im tellin you (at least in toronto) BIG things are gonna happen within a year (for raving and hardcore in general) and plans with NY, i believe, are being formulated. keep the faith man you dont have to die! lol

believe me. i'm not tryen to kill myself. people just don't wanna be bothered with the real world, the big world. pisses them off. they wanna live in fantasy land instead of doing what it takes to make the real heaven on earth. that's what i face every day.
that's what raving, and hardcore are all about.
tell me who's going out there maybe i know him. to me it seems here like they say... it's gonna get worse before it gets better. i think i'm in the it's gonna get worse part right nowl.

fault finders are fault menders.
stop posting whiny threads and get off your ass.
sounds to me like you want other people to do this for you.

do you think ny ravers would come over the bridge to n.j. for happy hardcore? (not being sarcastic:)

obviously what i'm looking for in throwing a rave is demand, and support. Being that there's not much interest is not encouraging. i figure it should be somewhat easy to reach, being a comuter i'd pick a place that mass transit. trains, and buses could get you to from ny, or n.j. driving directions would be fine then automaticaly i think. do you think?
as far as the neigborhoods. that's not a raver concern cause we're ravers. i've been to parties in comton, south central, west oakland. i talk to average white folks about how to get there, and i had bouncer tell me they were afraid to go there. lmao.
what does everyone think of newerk?! yea! i watch sopranos so i think we'd be raving about an up and comer as far as cities in the world go.
plurr,
hip-e
p.s. anyone who wants to throw parities let me know. i was thinking about one world one dance that includes techno, drum n bass, electro and of course happy hardcore.

o b4 u do anything are you sure there's no "rave" act? or its technical term is Illicit Drug Anti-Proliferation Act.
b4 you start creating a scene, make sure it's legal.

that got beat like four years ago. it also was nearly impossible to get a conviction with it.
it was put together just to pacify some uptight liberals with something that wouldn't do anything. they dropped it, and had to make an appology cause the amber act was held up a long with it. they couldn't pass either.
this is old old news. where you been? on the east coast? lmao!
n e thing else? seriously prehistoric news. last time i heard about the rave act or music proliferation blah blah blah i fell off my pet dinasaur and broke my stone underwear lmfao

it's actually still upheld in individual cities. i would check your local city, district, all of that. I'm from Houston and they still enforce it

don't call me budah friend. lmao
it's not. the police can bust a party anytime they want if ya wanna know the truth if you're ****ing up, and not handling it. in l.a. if you're realy unlucky homies will show up, and regulate. you'll wish it were the police.
guy pulled knife on some people throwing a party, took all their money. the end of color themed parties lmao. i got there late, did some free nos with kiddo then went to the right party which was out in the desert somewhere. at so addicted there were 40 cop cars outside with the party still bumpin. after the after party was set, party ended and we went there.
na the rave act was put down, and i talked to someone who went to lawyers about it. the lawyers said that there nearly no way for authorities to ever get a conviction with it even if it did pass. in the whole u.s. they busted one gay and lesbien party, and that was all.
you should manifest your hopes instead of your fears
plurr,
hip-e
p.s. party in newerk i think, that's the subject. opinions:...

Candyball 7 is scheduled for August 21st, you will get all the HHC you can handle. Candybally 8 is scheduled for October 30th, again, ALL the HHC you can handle. And the flyer is starting to look dope too!
I have been in NYC, Las Vegas transplant here baby, for a decade now, and I have seen 2 UK Hardcore Headliners at other crews raves. Aside from that, BEFORE I started throwing the Candyballs 2 years ago, Maybe I saw 10 or 15 parties with HHC, and that was always side room.
Hence the first CB title "Now Is The Time". Next year will be an even bigger year for RO and the CB parties, that I promise amigo! And hopefully, as Rochester, Syracuse, New Hampshire, and CT are following suit, my HHC Revolution will continue and more promoters in NYC will see the value of booking it.
Hell, I am headlining the second room at Junction on the 25th and Candykid is spinning too. that is two sets at least right? Again, I lived in this city for almost a decade without seeing HHC at a party, don't give up hope, I didn't!
