Ok... I just creamed my pants.
Team Ninja, famous for making boobs on Dead or Alive, or gibs on Ninja Gaiden, has secretly been assigned by Nintendo to make a more "mature" and "edgier" game of one of their franchises. What franchise you say? well, what other game series may already be closer to the maturity border than Metroid?
"Metroid: Other M, to be played on your Wii next year!"
EDIT1: to not confuse people in the future, this was e3 2009 :P

more interested in the new mario's myself but I was suprised to see the team ninja name pop up. was expecting a new ninja gaiden when I saw that...
nintendo redeemed themselves after there piss poor show last year

Video game companies have basically sold out their fans, all the systems are turning into family fun centers with grandma. 95% of the stuff announced for 360 for example is crap that only can be used in America, all the video stuff, america only, all the live content and competition stuff, america only, even that new natal thing required a large living room, dunno know about you but no one in Japan has that sort of space.

it appears that they have sold out to their fans, but it's more that they are opening up opportunities to target other audiences and publics. it is a sound investment to try to target a larger age group than just teenagers and young adults. older adults have more of an expendable income, so they are able to purchase video game systems more easily.
but yeah i know what you mean. nintendo has been sucking majorly with video games, and basically to me the new Xbox add-on or whatever it's called is nothing more than the Wii censor without the nunchuck & joystick. but at least it may put some kids into shape.
and the zelda picture, I sense another parallel universe theme. the character behind link reminds me of 1 of the bodyguards of Bison, Juni and Juli

all works here in england too...
that whole new add on thing seems to work just like a PS2 eyetoy, but the way people bang on about it is like its never before seen.
personally i'll wait to be impressed, see how good it actually is
all i can see if myself yelling at the TV "****ing move forward" whilst walking to and fro the tv..then eventually smashing the front of the tv with my fist because i dont have a controller to throw against the wall in rage.

That is exactly what I was thinking, it's the same as the eyetoy and people are like "it's so new and amazing" when it's the same old...

who cares my opinion is that the wii is a pos and its for little kids if your a serous gamer get the ps3 or xbox 360

i dont think you can really give the wii a target audience... anyone can play it and there are loads of different games for different gamers for it...
ps3 or xbox is aimed at teenagers or unemployed middle-aged men who have warhammer collections and lives off benefits...
