I said it before - I'll say it again, let it be!!

....I run. In the distance, I hear the faint melody. It helps me run.
I am in the long grass, seems like a parting in the woods. I can hear them coming....I panic, but no-one is after me. I gaze around, the deafening silence broken only by that faint melody. Is it in my head? F8ck off....i'm not crazy...am I?! **** it - I'm running anyway.
As I'm running through the trees I see you standing, alone, glowing bright white against a sea of darkness. You stay silent but raise your hand to the starry sky. It becomes clear. I hear it....its not a voice of a woman but that of a screaming child. The hairs on my neck stand on edge. I'm unable to move....to speak. I'm dreaming...I have to be dreaming...WAKE TO **** UP!!!
......nothing....
You move closer....your dark eyes ....you reach out. Time stops.
Your first touch lifts me off my feet in what seems like extacy at first but becomes horrific pain.
As I lay in the dirt, unable to move...you sit by my side, the music starts as you begin to fade.
Your face torn in writhering agony,your screams bleed my ears.
I bring myself to my feet, tearful in pain and emotion.
Suddenly everything is normal....was it a dream?
Blood on my face....no dream.
Was it I who never got the message? Do I know but choose to forget or ignore?
The music plays but it's distinctive now....it's mellow. I sit a while and dream....
...life...
