Read about these 2 this week in the papers
Case 1 - Social services took 2 kids (4&5) from their grandparents because they were deemed to be to old to look after them, (ages 59 and 54 I think) their mum was a heroin addict. They have now been adopted by 2 gay men, and the kids have been told that their grandparents are dead. (grandparents can never see the 2 kids again)
Case 2 - Demi Leigh Mohan (RIP) 2 years old and battered to death by her 15 year old babysitter because she was crying while her drugged up mum was out partying (heroin and cocaine addict) Social services never placed her at-risk because they "wanted to see if her situation became worse" Well it doesn't get much worse than that! No jobs will be lost.
These f**king jobsworths all earn a big wage payed for by us and will all retire on big pensions payed for by us! Sometimes I just want to scream!!!!!

its the same in other countries m8 :) here in the netherlands we also got these kinda things... for someone living 3 houses away from me who had her kids taken.. yet shes always managing to get drugs and a new car each month.. strange.. i cant even seem to be able to save up for vacation while i work(ed)!

To me it should be made law that social services should randomly turn up at your do if you have kids for a home check, and legally u have to let them in. All drug addicts should have their kids taken away...

I agree and everything but I was watching the news yesterday bout Demi Leigh and her grandma was talking about what had happened and was putting all the blame on social services it didnt seem to ocur to her that the heroin addict mother and farther that was never around might have had something to do with it. But I know what your saying it could have been prevented if social services had done their job properly.
