I got this too now.
Who's F**ked is absolutely worthless. How did this end up on this album? I mean, the, um, "lead melody" is awful and it sounds so flat and boring. How anyone can think this is a great tune is beyond me...
Having said that, I do love Press Play On Tape (And Play With My Joystick), In The Heat Of The Night (Dougal & Gammer Remix), Sing It Louder, Bomb Scared 2009, Ride Like The Wind and a couple others. Turn Up The Music (Marc Smith & Al Storm Remix) from HU3 is a nice treat, it sticks out on an album like this.

The average age at parties is certainly not 25, at least not in North America. I think a lot of people fall in and out of love with Hardcore very quickly, and maybe it explains why the genre is in such constant evolution.
To me this is today's real Hardcore, just like HU, CHX, COH or Bonkers.
I'm with you on that. It's all the same genre: Hardcore. On the more commercial cds, you'll find some of the same artists, or atleast remixes by the same artists, that you do on such albums as Hardcore Underground and Bonkers.

The album has been released in both mixed and extended version... apart from one of the best tracks, Virtue & Slammer - Don't Go (Gammer Remix), which is just a very short edit that fades out :(
I actually order the cds, but i'm still waiting to be able to buy the extended versions here in Canada.

It's been like this for a few years now.
As for the album the only tracks worth listening to are the Turn Up the Music remix and Press Play on Tape.

well, i thought this little stint of shite would be a phase but its obviously not :(
i have to wait untill crush on hardcore and hardcore underground come out for decent music and till then i just listen to other (more interesting) genres.
Right!
Just decided that every song im going to make now is going to be trying to push hardcore in a new direction.. PROBLEM SOLVED

That's what I've been doing for a few months now. Shame I'm quite slow at producing

hi guy's
the thing is that even if you do or don't like the album, the damage is done
when you part with your cash you have invested in the next album!.

i remember a time when MOS released like...4 albums a year tops, now under all their labels they must release tons...im guessing not as many people are buying them as used to and they are having to churn out as many as possible just to try and make a good profit...
not refering to hardcore albums, just ministry of sound and their underlings
surely there is only so many "trance anthem" "trance classics" albums you can release before the entirety of england has all the songs and doesnt want any more of the same songs in a different order...

Walmart/Asda UK chart as it stands
1. Clubland 14 (Cheesy dance/bounce)
2. Hardcore 2009 (Hardcore)
3. RnB in the Mix (RnB)
4. Feel Good 80's (80's Electropop/Nu Romantic)
5. Heartbreakers (Pop/Love Songs)
6. ? (dunno must be popular)
7. Big Tunes Ignition (Cheesy Dance/Scouse House/Bouncy House)
8. Summer Sessions (House/Dance)
9. Pop Party (Cheesy Dance/Pop)
10. Jackie (no idea! haha)
and you can just see Bonkers sitting down there at #24
still wouldnt find a selection like that in a walmart USA chart :P
got 11 dance compilations out of 25 in there, but anyway, back to what i was saying...almost half of those cds are released by Ministry and its child labels...

I've said it loads of times before on here, but if you want to buy one of these albums from MOS and AATW (hardcore wise) just wait 4/5 weeks and they reduce them by a few quid! We all know whats on them and they ain't going to be ground breaking albums! But there really is no point spending £12 on shite when you can spend £8 on shite! Btw the other Mos album 100% hardcore is better but I've only seen it at HMV!
