im looking at this product: http://www.guitarcenter.com/American-Audio-CK-1000-Professional-MP3-CD-Player-Mixer-801314-i1322415.gc and i dont know if it is a good buy..if i could get some feed back that would be great! i would go for some better stuff like cdj's and such but im broke and this would be my first piece of equipment

personally I think you can find something on craigslist that is better. Wait until you have a little bit more cash and get a little better quality. I have seen good deals on craigslist here for cdjs.
