is anybody caught up in any oldies songs? every now and then i'll watch an old movie or movie taking place during an older decade and i'll hear a song that i just can't get out of my head. i was watching "what's love got to do with it?" which is about Tina Turner's life and I ran into this song:

I think this song is simply amazing, and wouldn't mind hearing a hardcore version of it if done properly.

I didn't know whether this actually believed in another forum, but since this isn't exclusive to a specific genre, i thought this would b appropriate

Dare I mention In the Air Tonight?

Pretty big fan of the old stuff, got whole catalogues up behind the eyes, can get any song stuck in my head on command pretty much. Pink Floyd, Metallica, Maiden, Garbage, Cranberries, Dream Theatre, Hooters, Underworld, Blondie, Gunners, INXS, Choir Boys, Chisel, Divinyls, Kiss, all the good stuff.

70's - 90's is where its at, music of the last decade is definitely a few levels down in terms of quality

50s rock n roll is possibly my favourite music ever i love the stuff......anything before the late 90s seems to float my boat but since then i just cannot connect with what we have now, chart music now and since around 2000 is shockingly awfull to me i cannot bear it.

Does anyone remember the film Breakdance from 1984? anyway this scene from the film is the reason I've been into hardcore music for over 20 years!
