i quite like mc's tbh, generally they add another dimension to the set. and they get the hyped up. they do ther part.

even tho i do like raves now nd then :p i have to agree.. the whole mc thing doesnt work for me... honestly if there wud come a mc onstage wif me i wud ask him to either leave or turn down the mic volume.. no mc'ing though my sets =] .. then again.. my style aint fit for mc'ing =p

personally i'd rather not have an mc chatting chat and trying to scratch with his voice. it's annoying and ruins the music. Only mc i really like is ribbz!

Most try to make up their own sound effects during the set (Most don't even fit). Or they start talking about some random shit to the crowd.

MCs that know their place are fine. It's the ones that want to be the star that bother me.
MCing was all a part of being a DJ when it first originated. DJs would grab a mic and talk to the crowd. also how hip hop came around. Look it up. :)
