Hey guys, just wanted to say hello to you all! I'm Mark and I'm the singer/songwriter from Virtue & Slammer along with Ed Virtue. Just wanted to thank everyone who has been praising our debut track 'Don't Go' and supporting the release of Sound of Hardcore 2009! We just wanted to write catchy hardcore anthems and hopefully that's all you'll hear form us!
A quick update for all interested also, got some amazing original tracks written for the follow up to 'Don't Go' - can't wait for you all to hear them. Hopefully I'll be performing Don't Go live across the country soon too so if you have any gig requests, send me a PM and I'll get back to you.

Wilky: Thanks for your kind words! It would of been a honour just to be nominated but who knows for the future once it gets more exposure and a full release. As well as a full hardcore promo (eventually), there's plans for a Clubland style remix package and ballad mix if all goes to plan for those slushy moments ha!

Yep, you're right!
I think's it's pretty much impossible to make a rubbish version of You're Shining. Every version I've heard is damn good

Not t rain on you or anything guys but Virtue told me the "Your Shining remix" was unofficial an the vocals were sampled from one of the club mixes an made in to an acapella before the real vocals got leaked on the net

Impact: good to speak to you again mate! Unfortunately nothing happened with your mix for whatever reason, even though it is now still played at hardcore events so I'm told and has been since then! It still sounds amazing, total shame. Also, as the vocals in your mix were over 4 years old (the original vox), we re-recorded them for 2009. Real shame it wasn't released. Maybe we could look at a 2009 mix from you to go on the official release?
Wilky: Scooter, nowt wrong with that kidda!
Eufeion: we've never claimed it was an official mix. It was one of the first we ever did an indeed was just a crude rip of the vocals. We never expected it to reach 70k+ hits on YouTube as it was only for fun. That's why I've said in the above post that we may look at doing a proper full mix. Hope that clears it up!

No worries dude...Im not doing hardcore these days but glad to hear the track is getting some good feedback regardless

You will need to get clearence from AATW / Hixxy who own the rights. I had to for a remix thats just been done for Hixxy - Best to be safe than sorry :)
