It’s 2:53 am. I’m sat in my lounge. It’s empty, dark and silent. All I can hear is the music in my earphones. I have a carefully selected set, to maximize reflexion:

- Don McLean – American Pie
- DJ Synthwulf – Full Moon Freeform
- Hybrid – Finished Symphony
- 28 Days Later – In The House In A Heartbeat

All music I use to sit and think. Think crazy thoughts. Think happy thoughts. Think.
I start with Don McLean. My brain is relaxed. I think of loved ones, of the summer spent with them. I think of my friends, my girlfriend, my family.
Synthwulf starts, and suddenly my thoughts become shaken, pumped by the strong bass of Synthwulf’s freeform hardcore.
My leg starts to cramp, but I don’t feel like moving it. Hybrid comes on. I think of the snowy mountains of Switzerland and France. The snowy slopes. I can’t remember much of my first skiing trip, I just remember the slopes, and crashing. So I think of that.
In the House, In a Heartbeat: my heart slows down. All I can think of is isolation. Alone. It fills my head, this image of me, sat alone, with no one else. A whole house, road, square, town, city, country with none other than my own company to live with. Then I wake up. The song just finished.

I could go on for hours, but I feel like sleeping now =]
Someone else wanna try?

I like music :3

kthxitried :]

Nah but for real that was a pretty damn good musical experience you had there by yourself. I usually get lost in the music at music festivals. I've yet to go to raves, but I go to a lot of hardcore (metalcore) shows, and I totally get lost in the music. Bring Me The Horizon in the very front of the crowd. Those were the best 30 minutes of my life.

Amazing piece of music. Surface Of The Sun from the film Sunshine i believe was composed by the same person/people, i absolutely love both!

Tbh i never sit down playing music with any intentions to think or whatever i just find myself getting lost in it sometimes. I did however, when feeling a bit crushed the other day put on Beethovan's Moonlight Sonata to sit and wollow in self pity for a bit

wicked stuff!

love sitting on my back porch (covered) when its raining out, all alone, preferably with a doob and cup of tea, and toatally just loosin my self in music, i have plenty of playlists for the job, but they all start slow, acustic usually, then pick it up to classic rock then classic rap, then top 40 club banger (new BEP album right now is great) then i get into the electronic stuff, hardcore dnb gabber hardstyle.and then i usually finnish off with something slower again at the end just to wind down, until finnally the music is over and only the sound of the rain remains.....**** i wish it we're raining now so i could go for a sit! lol

A typical set for me is usually mindless but beautiful:

- Chris Brown - With You
- Force & Styles - Heart of Gold
- John Murphy - In The House, In A Heartbeat (28 Days Later Theme)
- Don McLean - American Pie
- The Byrds - Turn, Turn, Turn
- Hybrid - Finished Symphony
- DJ Synthwulf - Breaking Boundaries (Epic Mix)
- Toybox - Witch Doctor (Ooh eeh ooh ah ah ting tang wallawalla bing bang) =P
- Suzanne Vega - Marlene on the Wall
- Eminem - Stan
- Bang! - Shooting Star
- Nakatomi - Children of the Night
- Kev Willow - Just Dance (Remix)

This'd be something typical, I sometimes lean more toward oldies, sometimes more hardcore. Depends on my mood really
