Hey guys,

I would like to start a topic abiut what do you listen to when not in the mood for Hardcore?

Well, I just cant get enough of Trance! Uplifting Trance is so good and not to mention the Quality of the work that goes into the production of Trance.

I am getting into a bit of Hardstyle and other genres.

I would love to make Hardcore and Trance :D

Anyway, what do you guys listen too and why do you enjoy it :)

im a massive trance fan... euphoric, uplifting trance for me too... absolutely love it.

my fave trance producers of the moment is Aly & Fila..

i listen to anything hard really... hardstyle, hard trance..dance..

next door keeps bangin out some nice rock which im gettin into so might have to get some of that

i dun care really.. only thing i just dont listen to is any track of tiesto.. have developped some hate syndrome for him :) and i dun quite like rap/hiphop/rnb.. that kinda stuff..

just some dance, spy/goa, ambient for wot i care.. rock/metal...dnb :) i got with the flow really =] usually starts with wot i play first that day.. that keeps going the rest of the day =]

Mostly drum n bass, all kinds from old skool jungle to all the new shit.. and hip hop, underground and old skool. I like some uplifting trance too, dont lsiten much to it anymore tho. and i like some of most electrnic music styles, diffrent styles of house like deep house and all kinds of chilled out shit

Everything - almost. Dubstep's pretty big for me at the mo, as is both Liquid and Hard Drum & Bass, Classical, Progressive House - the list goes on for a while but these are the main ones at the mo.

friggin love it ALL, hardcore (gabber), HARDSTYLE (im actually in a hardstyle promotion company in toronto), jungle /dnb (first got me into raving) Trance (first got me to a club which was a really ****ed up asain club that gave me foundation for raving) DUB STEP is really cool and growing on me, booty, techno, breaks, HOUSE!! wow, just writing as they come to me, but i love dirty electro, tiesto is SICK btw, lets not get rapped up in too famouse for edm" now
rock, classics are best some newer bands, oh and 90's rock is great!

HIP HOP/RAP/RNB? well classic rap is some of the best music out there. new stuff i wouldnt let lick my balls. rnb is really good right now though.

TOP 40! is ****in SMASHING! cant get enough of the black eyed peas right now! album is sooo good!(minus boom boom pow-****in terrible)

classical(been jammin to the post on a classical thread from last couple days-amazing!

any music is great to me, i just have to understand where its commin from and i seem to be able to get into it. i mean, if hardcore music is made to go to a club get trashed (or not) and dance away, you cant descriminate cuz the next night i go to a local bar get smashed and dance to lady gaga (also not too bad) sometimes i swear people go harder drunk to top 40 britney spears shit than at raves:P

House, Classic House, Electro House, Progressive House, Hard House, Latin House, Acid House, Dream House, Vocal House, Trance, Progressive Trance, Techno Trance, Hard Trance, Uplifting Trance, Euphoric Trance, Vocal Trance, Euro-Trance, Psy Trance, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hardstep, Darkstep, Techstep, Darkcore, Intelligent, Liquid, Trancestep, Ragga, Industrial, Jungle, Oldskool, a bit Hardstlye (depends), Techno, Handsup, Commercial, Reggae, blahblahblah well you know.. I also like some pop stuff and summer music :)

Alot of stuff, atm im listening to alot of old skool speed garage :P
But my tastes range from marilyn manson to cyndi lauper. So almost anything besides RnB or poppy cheesey chart shite.

i listen to most genres of music , not meaning i like it all but theres tunes in most genres that i enjoy and listen to when im not listenin to the core.
i do dabble in DnB and punk rock more than anything else (obviously not core tho)

don't care for most trance either

love music from most every decade from the past millennium...which makes listening to most of the music produced this decade sound terrible =P

I listen to a lot of Electronic, Rap/R&B, some Rock (Not metal).

Pretty much I buy everything I like, mass it together into a playlist then just jam out. When I mix, of course, I collect it together.

Hard Trance/Psy Trance, Deep/Electro/Hard House, Electro, Hardstyle, Hardcore, Drum 'n' Bass, and Techno is what I mainly listen to.

i like to think theres at least a handfull of good music in any genre
just some genres you have to dig a little harder to find it..

ill listen to mostly anything

i do find it very hard to listen to techno though...Ramo's mix on off yer nut i can just about get through, ill listen to it if im doing a particularly shitty task at work because i think it puts my brain into some kind of trance which makes me forget the really menial task im doing.
