The old Hardcore Heaven series (1-5) were by the far the best CD's around, much better track selection/quality than Bonkers (in my opinion at least). Although the only problem with those is they aren't that easy to get hold of unlike Bonkers etc, and there is absolutely no way you'll find them new.

Tracklistings:

This is also an amazing CD:

Are you talking early Happy Hardcore or Breakbeat Hardcore from the early 90's?

Maybe someone should create some new and more specific categories.

Old School

Not Quite So Old School

Even Less Old School

Getting Slightly Grey Around The Temples But Not Actually Old School

Definitely Not Old But Not Young Either School.

etc

Everyone will always have their own ideas of what Old Skool is. I class Breakbeat Hardcore up to 1994 Old Skool. For someone who got into Hardcore in say 2002, Old Skool to them maybe Happy Hardcore from the mid 90's so it's always gonna be different.

Whats it got to do with school anyway?

Hardcore Heaven 1-5 all the way, much better than bonkers but also very costly to get a hold off
