I'm hoping someone can help me out here. The 3D functions are being a major pain. For some reason, images come up really, really tiny (no matter the size, or what 3D setting they're being used with i.e. environment, reflection, etc.), even after rendering.

There doesn't appear to be anywhere to adjust it either! Anyone know what I can do?

make the 3d a plain color and put an image over it (layer above it)... then press ctrl + g and ur image layer gets applied over the 3d image which results in a nice effect.. dunno if ya looking for that but thats wot i understood u wanted =p

You must be using a different version of Photoshop, or have a custom hotkey set. Ctrl + G creates a layer group here.
Unless that's what you intended... and if so, now I feel dumb.

c3 i think.. latest..
@ rayovac: yes im working with 7... but indeed my idea was to create a layer group so that the layer on top basicly fills all the non-transperant area;'s on your 3d image.. this day you can basicly get a whole picture over your 3d shape thing. otherwise you will most likely keep getting super small images.

Silver: I'm using CS4 extended, although I think 3D functions have been around for a few versions (I'm not entirely sure).

Thanks P-I. I figured out how to do what you suggested and I got a good effect (still wish I knew how to increase the texture size... guess I'll have to ask on the photoshop forums). And thanks for the link.

Here's the final result for anyone interested. What do you think? Anything I could improve etc. etc.?
Cheers!

Looks good.
I'm guessing it's supposed to be a banner? Or something of the sort?
I don't know; the color behind the letters doesn't strike me as something that flows. It's more of an eye sore, to ME that is. And it kinda distracts from the whole flow of the picture. It's like "Oooh leaves-WTF!" I know it's the idea to get the letters to stand out more; but it just doesn't flow.
Know what I mean? it's kind of like okay background, big distracting thing on top. I'm not very good at explaining right now, haha. I hope you know what I mean.

Thanks.
That image in the background was more or less a reference to be honest. IF this ever does go onto a webpage, the background will b pretty darn blurry.
