my cousins own a sauna that floats around a massive lake on their property in sweden.
bloody awesome fun, in summer you chill and have a bbq and swim and sauna etc. then in winter you cut a hole in the ice, nude up and get in the sauna then jump through the hole in the ice and repeat... (also involves vodka)

Theres 1,8 million saunas here, so about 1 for every 3 people. In the old days here women gave birth in saunas. Also in the war there were saunas in the front lines, even for horses (to get rid of lice), was actully one of the reasons we didnt lose :p peacekeepers also always build a sauna first when they station somewhere. Theres shit loads of tradition on it, but the bottom line is, its healthy, you should try it.

i have tried it, the :P implies that its a joke and not to be taken too seriously that i think fins and swedes are actually crazy
and they call themselves cheerleaders regardless of what you think they are, just 'cause they dont happen to be cheerleading in that particular video doesnt make them any less cheerleaders..
**edit**
ive actually been saunafied a few times (mainly because the island i used to live on has them all over) one time that stands out inparticular is when a friend of mine decided he needed the toilet....then proceeded to urinate on the coals - not only did this stink..he also succeded in scaulding his privates on the steam that his waste product created... :P

Used to be like that too, then i discovered the beauty in womens figure skating and cheerleading Unfortunately both are sports where the TV broadcasts are always butchered with "commentators" ****ing it up by speaking on top of the show, which compleatly ruins it. Like watching opera and then some douchebag starts talking on top of the singing explaning what you just saw
