I've got a new found love for Makina, and i know from banter that allot of other people love it too, but how commercial is it? its barely ever mentioned, though, the tunes are great!

300% Makina 2008. love that CD, i think it's mostly unmixed too so i've been putting a lot of the tracks in my mix.

Bit Music ya mean? and There's really no Xque Records, Xque shared its releases with both Bit Music (72-xxx) and UpTempo (UTxxxMX).
to be honest the best makina came out around 2001-02 with the likes of Dany BPM - Home, Flashback - Extasia 2002, Marlex - Braveheart, Melomaniacs - Out of this World/Scainamolem and Pastis & Buenri - I'm Sailing

Yep, u are right.
And Al-khemie Records was somehow linked to Xque (First 11 records appears with "X Que? records" old logo). This label is at the moment most dynamic and best now in my mind.
I like newer tracks but sometimes there is older tunes what i love. Many Gerard Requena tracks are nice even if they are older + Ruboy

God dammit I love me some makina. First heard it in the cliffraves mixes on this station. It was some of the most atrocious mixing I've ever heard, but I loved those songs.
