Hi any1 know what you call the plastic under slipmats i know you get them with new versions of technics now and wondered what they are called? Also where can i purchase them??????

They started to come with the turntables from MK5's but I know that people used to use the plastic bags that record stores used to use before that, they are not the ones you get from supermarkets but better quality and flat, no I dont know what they are called.

Yeah i got them with mk3s. Im also looking for good sturdy slipmats like the ones i got with the technics but al i seem to find is the flimzy ones that go all bobbly.

there aren't many places that make them.
when I first started out there were no butter rugs, silk mats, etc. & I just made my own with either wax paper or plastic by outlining the shape of the record on the material and then cutting it out
