A rather complex-on-the-inside question... how exactly would importing a vehicle from the UK work? How would you buy it in the first place if you lived in the US? What if you didn't have all the money ready at hand? What if you did?

you'd have to buy it outright in the UK, then get it shipped via someone like http://www.autoshippers.co.uk/
then you would have to get it insured the regular way once its in the states - and probably have to buy US plates as well, though that part im not sure on..
