hmm.. im not sure if its meant to sound like that or not... certainly sounds terrible...

i think its just the music... either the odd style or terrible dj...

considering it's Pastis (and that I cant hear it from ork), I think it's propably just the tracks he plays.
before you rate him poorly, he is after all one of the best makina producers out there (Pastis & Buenri).
Either that, or you just don't like how makina is mixed (3decks)

Its like a live rankin mashup style showcase - at one stage this guy has 2 vocal tracks playin over each other. I've heard DJs just have a bad set but nothing like this lol if hes the best makina producer then either djin isnt for him or he needs to practice more

what i know makian dj's usually dont scratch (dont quote me on that, I havent heard a makina mix in years), but usually they always seems to have 2 tracks up on each other

I mix makina on 3 decks
...actually, I also mix UK hc on 3 decks
For makina I almost always have at least 2 tracks playing and sometimes cut into a third. No overlaying vocals though. That's bad.
Its fun to mix but isn't very deep musically.
I can't listen to this mix from work so I can't comment

Theres bass tracks, vocal tracks and melody tracks. Sometimes theres 3 tunes playing on top of each other. Now try to get them all to match, that needs mad skills :P

i dont know much about the genre... but this mix is almost unbearable.. sounds like some mobile DJ for a Now Thats What I Call Music kids party at a church hall.. im not quite sure how its possible to be that out of beat mixing on anything, even some £25 hi-fi belt drive turntables could give a better outcome.. nevertheless i dont know the circumstances for mixing this genre..

its a style of hardcore, spanish hardcore so id assume the same as over here.. either way, however its ment to be mixed im pretty damn sure the end result isnt ment to sound like that, especially for someone who is ment to be the best in that scene
