everytime i try to open a program. it say does not have enough memory to perform this task or sumthing like that. if any1 can help me. it would be much appericated

what operating system are you using....how much RAM do you have...
alt-cntrl-del..(or if vista cntrl-shift-esc)..and take a screenshot or tell us how many processes are running on the processes tab :)

vista 3gb of ram. i cant take a screen shot cause it wont let me run any programs besides firefox.

yeaa, you definiately shouldnt be getting that error with that much ram lol
can you tell how many processes are running (Control, Shift, Escape)

Possibly a memory leak?
Edit: Really weird. I tried to listen to Narcotic Radio and it said "Your computer is low on memory please close any other programs".
But I can run everything else fine, the error doesn't pop up. Just when I tried to listen to NR.

any1 help me! any1 know how to stop a memory leak?. im gettin sick of not opening fl studio! im gunna die if i dont be able to mess wit it within the next few days

54 is a little high...i only have 40 processes running, go through your taskbar and open any programs that are running and change their settings so they dont run on startup once thats done restart, then go into msconfig (via run) and shut off non-essential programs that are starting up from Startup and services (making sure to "hide all microsoft services")

actually it now says i have 1.01 gb of when i know i really have 3gb .WTF!. triq. please talk more dumb/american so i can actually understand. no offense or anything. i kno ur trying to help
