Anybody make Kandi here?

I just made my first two 'pieces' hah.

1.

kinda ****ed up on this one, didn't make it long enough to fit around my head so I mite take it apart and recut and all that. Plus it's not string it's lanyard rope? and wont tie in a good enough knot.

edit: lawl edited because I felt embarrassed

Been making candy for 6 years now and still going! Oh! And dont use "XTC" on your candy. It just makes the whole stereotype that "Candy Kids are nothing but E-Tards" seem more true. I've worked hard in my scene to show that ravers can be candy kids without the influence of drugs, which is the way it was intended.

it's funny you say that because one of my friends saw that and broke it by pulling it off me and the beads went everywhere. Although my necklace is now my keychain for my car keys.

Warped you just put me in my place.

edit: warped you look like such a fun guy to hang with.

Aww, thank you! Whenever you are making candy, you always want to use elastic string. Now, I am picky when it comes to string, and I only use the stuff Wal-Mart has in their sewing department. It comes in a blue & purple package, and I think it's $1.?? something per pack. I have been told by ravers out West who really represent the candy fashion that fishing rod string holds the best if you are wanting to use stuffed animals on your candy. I myself have never tried that because I've never worn stuffed animals on my candy. I tried it once, and after 5 min. of dancing, I had to take it off. Good luck on your candy kid journey, just remeber to refrian from using drug-related phrases on your candy because being a candy kid, or a raver in general, has nothing to do with drugs.

I tried Michael's which i think is a big craft store but they didn't have anything for making bracelets so I went to a store called JoAnn's Fabics and found some kits there. I made a mistake buying Lanyard string (retard) and I'm never going to make that mistake again haha! I mite hit up the walmart for string and a big bucket of beads.

Be your self dress how you want to dress ^_^ I wear candy some times and think it is rather cute and super fun.

I am more in to lolita and kera style now a days, Yet I still like to rock out in some ninja turtle pants from time to time.

Candy ravers are like the cheerleaders of the rave world. It is neat to like dress up and try to make the event you are attending fun.
