bindun a looong time ago - but we have alot of new members who im sure have some pretty awful buys too!
so, the worst/most embarrassing Record (or cd) you have ever owned - it could have been bought for you, or even bought by you!
CD i was bought the spice girls first album when it was released in 96...followed by the smurfs album (Smurfs go Pop)..
CD I bought Aqua - Aquarium (the album) haha...there is a possiblilty i bought Cartoons - Witchdotor...but it really was as a joke!!!..and i dont have any of them anymore
haha!
worst record i own is probably Charlie LowNoise and Mental Theo - Stars
no offense to anyone who likes it, but its awful, with a vocal that seems to go out of tune alot
only still have it because i have a problem getting rid of hardcore..plus it only cost me 50p in a carboot sale..
ive gotten rid of all the other records i had that i thought sucked hehe

First Aqua album is pretty good. I still own it to this day. Sure it's cheesey but who cares, i'm not going to pretend there isn't some excellent songs on there (considering it's pop music). Dr Jones is a quality tune! Not the kind of thing i'd ever buy these days of course but it i was alot younger then!

A really bad album I bought is Complete Trancespotting. The review on that page says it all...
Another bad one I bought is This Is Techno!, which is garbage. Mainly because, for one, all of the tunes on there fade out halfway. I mean, really, what the?
By far, the worst one in my collection is 100 Anthems: Hardcore, which I (thankfully, in the sense that I didn't have to pay for it) got as a gift. I listened to it for a little bit, then went and sold it on eBay for $2. All of the tracks fade out before even getting anywhere. And several of them had clipping problems. Completely worthless.
I've been able to get rid of Trancespotting and the hardcore anthems albums. Although I couldn't sell This Is Techno! for some reason, so it ended up being a coaster for a while, then a microwave experiment.

Ugh, I hate that track, and all of it's remixes, with a passion. I'm glad there's someone else out there that I can agree with here!

worst record i own: Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo "This Christmas" CDS
Was a blindbuy, and probably the worst happy hardcore tune ive ever heard. I have a lot of mediocre shite in my collection, but nothing comes even close to how bad that single is.

Honestly cant think of a dud cd i bought. Im pretty picky with my money. Perhaps Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All, because soon after i had bought them i lent them to someone and never saw them again.
Might take a peak through collection and see whats there.

I can't believe you bought it. xD The simple fact that it got it's OWN VINYL RELEASE floors me. I mean... it's a joke track! It's funny and all, but come on...!
Also, for those who think Stars is bad, you should see it's video...
Apparently I was thinking about a remix of Stars actually. The version in that video is different from the one I heard (if it helps, the version I heard had a really annoying "LED MEH SEE YO FAYSE! AWW YEAH!" sample in it).
