A Wheel Of Fortune remix would be interesting!

Also, I must reiterate what Samination said: Touch Pilgrim and die!

I don't think that would be a wise choice considering the nature of the song.

Yeah, SB dedicated it to one of his close friends that died around that time.

Remixing Old tunes never goes down well with fans, have you heard how bad some new remixes of old tunes sound? Im not a fan of new Hardcore due to the lack of hardness which is why I am making my own Old Skool with hard kicks and everything.

Technophobia will be interesting to remix as I havn't heard any version of it after 1996. It was said to be the best tune from Scotland at the time and was also huge in The Netherlands as well. I have heard it in many old skool sets. An old favorite of mine aswell. I wouldn't ever think any version could come as good as the original 2bh.

One thing that annpoys me about new versions of old tunes is the hardness is taken out. Hard kicks replaced with a bassline, the excuse is it 'modernises' the tune yet basslines and trance rifts are dated now anyway...

Never heard Don't you worry or Wheel of fortune. I think I heard a new version of E-creation once and it was terrible lol

Probably because, a lot of the time, they're hardly true to the original, or they're just plain shit. A good example of "just plain shit" would be Sy & Unknown's remix of Pilgrim. I mean, what the hell was the point in that? All they did was layer on some stock beats and bass, and grab the lead sample from the original and slap it in there. Garbage.

Had that tune come out a couple of years before it would have been huge! (I own it myself)

Also I rememberd there was a 2005 remix of Detonated. Just a weak version of the original, nothing big sadly and was in the shaddow of an 11 (now 15) year old tune that was being played across every Rez even in Scotland & Newcastle at the time! How many people play the 2005 version now?

The worse 'New version of old tune' was Ramos, Supreme & Sunset Regime - Life Force Generator (2008 remix) which lacks alot in modern production standards

It seems I was the last person to comment on this as well with a very negotive comment!

Oui. He certainly does have a lot of aliases though.

It annoys me though how there's pretty much no continuity with the aliases... half of the time Plus System tracks are listed as Scott Brown tracks (and if I recall, a few times even Interstate). And vise versa for every way possible.

Not only that but most tunes that are remixed are the ones that have already been played to death. I like joey riot's idea of pickin out SB tunes that ppl haven't heard much of, or a much forgotten tune.

also i agree that TAKE ME UP is truly underappreciated. o and YOUR LOVE, that song that he did with marc smith!
