Haven't liked Sharkey's latest stuff or mixes. I think he has & can do a lot better that's why i put him down as needs to improve.

What Kev Energy is doing to hardcore, is like pulling my pants down. Slower and lacks energy to walk the same pace. I rather grateful he released stuff by Synthwulf and Alex Sash, but his own harddance-ish production I/we can be without... anyways, what's happening to Sharkey's Album? ATM it looks like it was the biggest mistake of him to let it get signed to AAtW... Electronica Exposed should have taken over.

wait a min. are we still talking about Kev Energy here? The guy is oozin energy! If it wasn't for guys like him all we'd have is these Upfront Tunes looping the same the dead hiphop samples till Hardcore dies again.
Get a grip! Hardcore's progressing & so it bloody should be. These guys have given a professional edge to hardcore that has never existed in the scene before. Kev Energy as a Promoter/DJ/Producer is by far the greatest thing to happen to Hardcore since Scott Brown & where these guys are taking hardcore is the future.
I mean, how long do u honestly think this commercial scene is gonna last? I mean, we've got tunes coming out that are looping samples from the early 90's. That's pushing 20 years old! 2010+ is the decade for Freeform, mark my words.

I'm just talking about his recent stuff. I can't say I hate them, I just dont like them, but their lacking something.. like length.
I couldn't care less if its professional or well done. to be honest, that's not what music is about, to me. It should be about what they are about, and not how well they where produced... well to me atleast.
I dont know abolut you, but we seem to have different meanings about energy. for me it's fast and furious and almost never ending, and I can't say Kev's stuff is that, when he trying to be professional and more harddance-ish. TBH I almost feel like he's gone abit to commercial with it. Not as commercial as clubland, but compared to what freeform used to be...

@ Samination - don't know how you're linking Orbit1 to "making Hardcore into Hard dance". He's made the best Hardcore and how Hardcore should be. How is his stuff not energetic? It's without doubt one of the most energetic in Hardcore
