TBH I feel embarrassed going into a shop to buy a CD with a semi-nude girl on the front... It just makes Hardcore look cheap and tacky.

id say no in a heartbeat
too skinny, no boobs...plus you can just tell that she watches "what katie did next" and finds it interesting..if not that show, any other mind-numbing celebrity "entertainment" programme
...then theres the bit where she chose modeling as a good career lol!
yeah, just no.
like i said before Hardcore Underground will sell, Bonkers will sell
Sex doesnt HAVE to sell - it just helps decide who you sell to and what market you aim at
if you dont think the music will hold up enough to sell the album...you slap a slag on the front :) otherwise you give it a shiney cover like the new bonkers..or the new hardcore underground album
interestingly enough that jpg is in a folder on their server called "folio"
so it may not be going anywhere at all and its just concept art for people who perhaps might be looking for designers

Here? I don't know what it is but she just doesn't look very feminine. Think it's the blown back hair exposing the perfect hairline for a shirt back and sides. Scrawnly lips, (and girls who wear light pink or skin coloured lip gloss worry me, i hate that look), quite a bold, pointy noise, bit of a jaw on her and she looks like she's quite fond of the military press. Oh and there isn't a curve in sight, instant fail.
God i hope she doesn't read this, i'd hate to make the girl cry lol.

I know a little bit about it, someone I know told me to submit NSR tracks for it.....
I spoke to the guy running it.....Jamie Blaze I think.
Lets just say......I was put off submitting tracks or buying it after about 2 emails.
I dont want to kill something before it starts but if this project takes off and does well Id be very shocked.
When attempting to submit tracks I was asked to submit the remix packs for the tracks too.
But why???? I said
Apparantly, Blaze and Unstable are remixing every single track on the album, at least thats how I understood it.
Are Blaze and Unstable really that popular to sell 3-5k units of albums????
Will people be enticed by 60 remixes by the same people????
I could be wrong, maybe its not those guys remixing every track but Ive submitted tracks for COH and HU and neither of those guys asked for remix packs.
It just all seemed a bit odd to me, some cool album that will be sold in HMV, yet no one has even heard of it and its mixed by two guys I am very unfamiliar with....
As for the girl.....meh, shes go a strong jawline, thats where the manliness comes from.
Do girls belong on the front of hardcore CDs????? DEFINITELY NOT
Who actually ever sees a really gorgeous beautiful girl at a rave??? There arent many.
Which is why NSR's new CD looks like this:

I really hate that Parental Advisory stamp you have to put on the front of a CD if there's just even one '****' in a track. Ruins the design a little bit, just like the massive warnings on tobacco products :( On the other hand, profanity won't do any damage to your health, unlike cigarettes :P

I quite like the health warnings on cig packs. Especially now the UK govermnent have slapped on pictures of rotting lungs and stuff. And all the manipulative adverts attempting to emotionally blackmail people into stopping smoking. The lengths they will go to. Makes me chuckle.
Anyway that's another subject back on track, yes!!! Redwings agrees on the jawline, proof shes a chap.
