The mix included Storm because Mixmag wanted to demonstrate vocal scratching.
I just found the original recording so I'll be giving it a remaster and putting it in the mixes section at http://www.djbrisk.co.uk for free download.

Nice one Dain-ja. I wanted to go for functionality and ease of use rather than lots of eye candy and flash stuff. I find that the novelty of such things quickly wears off and can become quite annoying after a while.
Anyway, the Mixmag session is now live. Shame about the quality of the vocals but both music and mc vox were on the same channel so couldn't be treated separately. I do remember at the time Mixmag giving us 24 hours to get this nailed so it was literally recorded on 2 decks through a mixer with a cheap mic.
Hardly ideal :/

Problem with Mcs on cds is when your blaring the tunes from your car in the center of town
suddenly storm shouts out, WHO FEELS THE F***** RUSH
And is usually 10 times louder than the music, back in the day the mcs where not as loud so
they could shout and you could still hear the music.
I would say turn down the MC's, but never ever take them away...

Brisk and wotsee in janurary had the perfect set up for me. i could hear wotsee, and what he said,but i could also hear the music very clearly.
