Hi all,
I have a mix entitled "Return of the Vibe I" by DJ Lord. Total length is 1:07:34, so it is over an hour long.
I'm trying to figure out the name of the song that plays from about 41:30 to about 46:00
The lyrics go something like: (xxxxx means I can't tell what he is saying)
"kick it"
"to the hardcore sound, to the hardcore" x3
"baby,"
"xxxxxx when we're ravin', xxxxx till the morning xxxxxx when we're ravin' "
"come xxxxxx"
From what I can tell, he seems to be saying something that sounds like this:
"kick it"
"to the hardcore sound, to the hardcore" x3
"baby,"
"Cali-motion when we're ravin', Monday-motion till the morning, Cali-motion when we're ravin' "
"come party with me now"
Google has not been friendly to me. I can't even find a playlist of "Return of the Vibe I"
The song has a bit of a raggae beat to it.
I just found a website that has an article about some rave called:
HULLABALOO! 2
'return of the vibe'
Sept 6, 1997 - Toronto, Canada
Maybe what I have is a recording of that rave?
I'm also wondering if perhaps the song I'm looking for was just done live, and is simply just a bunch of samples put together?
