your facebook. Read Carefully ( A
Notification will be sent to you that
one of your friends has commented
on your status, it will open a new page
and tell you to re-enter your facebook
username and password... the page
looks just like the FB login page so BE
CAREFUL, dont enter your user id and
password or it will be hacked ) Please

Also phising isn't hacking, if you're dumb enough to give your facebook details to any other site than facebook.com, then you probably deserve it.

Say, does this mean we should never click any of our notification emails ever again? Bit of a big ask, isn't it? Is there any way of differentiating the normal notifications from the hacked ones?

Yes, you don't need email notifications. Just load up facebook normally and it will have the notifications on there too.

actually i think this hacking has already been around before because I've tried to continue exploring on fb and suddenly it asks for me to log in and all that crap. but this was months ago so it hasn't happened to me lately. and it seems to only have happened to me on IE

Doesent effect me iv never checked my notifications once lol.....I just use the email ones and txt ones....And generally ignore them tbh lol
