been listening to bonkers 16 alot and i think for the 2006 era bonkers 16 pretty much was the best out there "2006 being the best hardcore year of the 2000's in my opinion so don't shoot me here" i reckon 1996 was the best prior to 2000 and probably best overall.
There's alot of quality on there and tracks not featured on other compilations before it and "wtf track 6 on disk 1" was a track in a style i think was a shame it didn't really catch on.

Sharkey as usual own Bonkers 16. (along with CLSM & Kutski)
Fave tunes include:
(as good as the 1996 oruiginal which is rare for a 2000s tune)
(why was this never released?)
(back to the 90s with this one )
And although I skipped through the Hixxy & Re-con mix this is a Upfront tune I did like! Really sexy this tune is, all other version I have heard are boring.
Scott Brown & Gammer's mix was a let down.
I remember thinking if only this tune was harder. Then a while afterwards I heard Lord of Hardcore - Go Bezrk (1993) which is harder (and better)
(I know this isn't on Bonkers 16)

No mention of The Dirty Dozen? I ought to come over there and pimp-slap you!
I must admit I really liked 16 too. Even Hixxy's CD wasn't too bad. I'm still greatly annoyed at the fact that Bang Like A Mother has yet to be released, though.
