If people didn't, we wouldn't have a lot of things we have today.

The way I see it is we can disagree with someone's opinion, but you can't say it's wrong unless there is a definate fact. An opinion isn't necessarily fact.

He's saying that you can't disagree that it is his opinion. Which is in fact true. You can obviously disagree with the opinion though. :P

Having heard Ska, The Beatles, Hip Hop and Queen at a rave I think I've gotta disagree with the whole music played at a rave thing too. :D

Rave music for me would be Oldskool and Acid House obviously, various forms of Techno (Acid, London etc.), Psy Trance, Hard House/Trance/Style, Breaks, DnB, Hardcore, etc, etc. Obviously a few of these have a commercial side but so did oldskool and Acid House! I hear all these sorts of music regularly at real raves up and down the country.

Like the word "Oldskool" people use "Rave" to describe the early Hardcore sound though.

"raves" started for everyone to have a good time listening to many forms of dance music at one event! (like other music events do) I really can't see any dance music released these days that can be called rave music! you can't devine rave music, because everyone has different tastes! its a collective thing!
