Went in to HMV today and they had it set up!

So gave it a go......

You basically.....

Press different buttons (3 colored) like in Guitar Hero.

You also when told to, scratch or directional scratch using the platter on the turntable with the correct button held down.

Use the fader to go left & right on certain parts on the music highway an also, like star power you can use something like that to rewind the track an re-do a part to earn more points.

You can also use a knob to add FX like Wah - but I didn't get to use that as that's on Expert mode, I did medium.

It's actually not bad but your hand and eye coordination had to be spot on as it gets major complex it quick directional scratch's and fader cutting inc the button pressing!

So its like a really old game that was on the PS1 years back with a lil turn table and 3 keys on the pad.......

I dont understand guitar queer-o and stuff like that why not just learn the real instrument since most people spend the same amount of time playing the game......

South park knows what its on about lol :P

The game still annoys me.

At least you in GH you got the BASIC down.

But this game just shows all DJs do is scratch, and switch from one deck to another, adding some cheap effect to it. That's why I don't like the game.

I thought Guitar Hero was pretty shit. Yes, I got thrown off for being rubbish on it, but i don't get the fascination with pressing buttons and 'strumming'.

Not impressed with the sounds of DJ Hero either. Sounds rubbish.

DJ Hero very slightly got me interested.

It's not like I'm going out of my way to shed money for it (Just yet)

The track list really doesn't appeal to me, either.

I think I'll stick with Beatmania IIDX(At least they feature Hardcore from time to time)

only thing annoys me is half the songs are mash ups with the same 3 daft punk songs.

Actually I've been flamed on youtube for not using serato and using CD-J's if you can believe that hahah... so you never know with new peeps... Pretty much if you learn serato using timecoded vinyl then you're a vinyl DJ...

i dun really mind what people like to use for dj'ing.. its more that the many ways to do so these days the technoligy is giving anyone with common sence (and some without common sence but who are just lucky to hit the right button :P) a chance at dj'ing.. which isnt always good :P bringing some video game out (there been more before but not that known) about beeing a dj and such... ull ave a flood of wannebe-dj's coming up.. might even get a popstar dj version... O_O ok ... i know :P im taking it to heavy :P but ya get the point :)

ps: i think serato is a great add for the better dj's :P saves a lot of weight in ur lugage on the airport :P 1x HD 500gb > 200 vinyls :P
